Buying a Vehicle

Bell Credit Union offers attractive fixed rates and flexible terms.

Five Smart Steps to Buying the Vehicle of Your Dreams:

1) Get Informed

Get answers to some of the most commonly asked vehicle purchase questions, such as: Should I buy or lease? Which is better, new or used? How much should I put down? Do I need GAP Coverage? (Just what is GAP Coverage?)

2) Check Your Credit

Ready to finance your next vehicle? Would you like to see what the dealership financing company sees before you apply? Visit for a FREE copy of your credit report.

3) Put the Power of Pre-Approval on Your Side

Don't walk into a dealership without first getting pre-approved through Bell Credit Union. Check out our low rates and then apply online.

4) Research Your Vehicle Options

Before you purchase your next new or pre-owned vehicle, check out its options, features and value at the NADA web site. From new vehicle pricing and photos to used vehicle trade-in reports and values, NADA has it all!

You can visit our CUDL (Credit Union Dealer Loans) link and do your vehicle shopping online with a dealership that is familiar with Credit Union lending policies. View inventories, research vehicles, and get financed right here with Bell Credit Union.

5) Don't Get a Lemon

Don't purchase a pre-owned vehicle without researching it first. Find out if the vehicle you've been eyeing has a salvaged title, odometer rollback, flood damage and more. We can run a Carfax report to look for any trouble areas. Subject to a $30.00 fee.

Estate Planning

The End is not The End (financially speaking), if you plan well . . .

Most of us avoid this type of planning because we are reluctant to face our own mortality, however, getting a plan in place can provide peace of mind. There are many options when it comes to estate planning and it is best to consult a professional (attorney or financial planner) to help assess your particular needs and determine the best course of action. Whether you set up a trust or simply designate a payable on death for your accounts we can help put your decisions into action.

Setting up a trust requires a legal document usually obtained through an attorney, if you decide on this option just bring your trust document in so we can make the necessary account changes to reflect this decision.

If you opt for a payable on death designation for your account, just stop by and give us the necessary information concerning the person(s) you wish to designate. This option allows your designee(s) to only have access to your account after your death. This would allow them to have the funds immediately without having to go through probate. This option also means that they would have no access to the account or any information while you are alive, so your private matters remain private.

Stop by or give us a call and get your plan into action.
